How to become an AME, salary, course duration, what is AME

Hey friends today we are going to discuss about how to become an AME and what is AME? 

What is AME?

It's an aircraft Maintenance Engineering, means there are There are engineers and mechanics among these two AME is person who maintains and repair the aircraft that is Mechanic of an aircraft. His duty is only to repair not to  design or manufacture. designing or manufacturing is the duty of engineers. AME is licensed course of duration two years.


Now How to become AME?
Guys To become an AME  one needs not to appear in any entrance exam like iit, jee, gate etc. You can directly join after completing 10+2,  to colleges which has these course. There is no percentage restrictions for admissions. But only you need to search DGCA approved colleges.

                             

How long does it takes to become an AME? 

It takes long time about duration of 5 years to become or receive AME license. Because one needs to clear all 11 modules in mechanical stream and 10 modules in Avionics which is conducted online by DGCA. after which one selects as training technician then junior then senior technician  and finally one get AME license on particular Aircraft. Which takes around 5 years. 

Salary of AME? 

AME get attractive salary around 1.5 lakh which increases rapidly and reach around 4lakh per month in India and in foreign countries it will be too high.
